New Lighting Set Up.

In our first Digital Image lesson of the new year, we were taught a new lighting set up that would help us in our latest unit. Chris told us we would learn two new set ups and this was our first set up. We were told this would be a better set up for us when it came to our shoots, it would create a softness to the images, but keeping a nice sharp to definition to the image.

You'll need:

Camera (with 50/85/100 lens)
Tripod
1 boom stand
sync lead
2 soft boxes
1 beauty dish
C-stand and diffusers

The above images were taken with a 100 lens which is great for extreme close ups like on the lips and eyes. 

We didn't use a reflector for a lot of images and it would make them look darker and not what you'd want when advertising make-up based on eyes or lips.
